League of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 2

7. Team Curse (2-5)

team-curse Like most of the teams this week, Team Curse squeaked out of weak two with one win and one loss. After getting dominated by Team Vulcun on day one, Team Curse returned with a vengeance behind a global composition and defeated Team Dignitas. Team Curse still has a lot of room to improve, but they definitely could be sleepers coming into the later weeks. Top lane player Voyboy played well this week, especially against Team Dignitas, going 5/1/16 on Shen. Mid lane player Nyjacky made an adequate performance against Team Vulcun as Malphite but made a grand return to form as Karthus (8/5/10) against Team Dignitas on day two. Jungler Saintvicious continues to play an either really good (Nocturne- 5/3/11) or really inadequate jungle (Jarvan IV- 0/4/4). AD carry Cop and Support Edward continue to gain chemistry in the bottom lane, and their performances improved from last week. Against Team Dignitas, Cop went 4/0/13 on Ezreal. Edward continued to progress in his role on the team, including his performance as Leona against Team Dignitas.
