League Of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 4

7. Team Curse (4-8)

team-curse Team Curse once again struggled against competition after consecutive losses to the two top teams in the tournament: Cloud Nine and Team Vulcun. The team showed against Vulcun that they could win a 5 v 5 level 1 battle, but the rest of the game was controlled by Vulcun. Cloud Nine never game Team Curse a foot hold. This team needs to put more pressure on opposing teams during mid game, which is where Team Curse is weakest. If they can do that, Team Curse may just make a comeback in the second half of the season. Top lane player Voyboy ended the week with a KDA of 9/12/4, which is worse than usual for one of the most well-known top laners in LCS. His performance was a major uphill struggle against Balls from Cloud Nine and Sycho Sid from Team Vulcun. Mid lane player NyJacky made two less than stellar performances, headlined by his inability to stay alive long enough to contribute to team fights. He needs to survive much longer unless he wants to play Karthus the whole tournament. Jungler Saintvicious improved on his performance in Anaheim despite his extremely unimpressive KDA this week. AD carry Cop struggled immensely this week on Caitlyn and Draven, ending his week with a KDA of 3/8/6. Support Edward was little help to Cop during laning phase and needs to improve his team fighting presence.
