League Of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 8

2. Team Vulcun (15-8)

Team Vulcun Team Vulcun had one of its best showings this week. They went 3-0 this week, and they took a four game lead over the many third place teams. The team also guaranteed themselves a playoff spot, and pending a five game losing streak, they will also clinch second place and a first week bye in the playoffs. Vulcun beat Team Curse, Counter Logic Gaming, and Velocity eSports. This team continues to be a scary opponent for any NA LCS team, and when they are having a good game, they can match Cloud Nine's effectiveness and efficiency. Top lane player SychoSid did not have one of his better weeks, ending his week with a KDA of 4/5/31. He was played purely as utility this week. Mid lane player mancloud was as dominating as usual, with his 9/4/8 Zed against Velocity eSports and his two performances on Ahri (9/2/8). He continues to prove why he is one of the best mid laners in the North American scene. Jungler Xmithie, the MVP of week 8, dominated with his Evelynn jungle against Velocity eSports and Team Curse (13/2/15). Along with his 0/0/10 Jarvan IV jungle, he continues to play consistently well. Hyperaggressive AD carry Zuna played three above average games on Vayne (7/2/10 against Velocity), Twitch (5/2/3 against CLG), and Tristana (7/1/7 against Curse). Stone-faced support BloodWater stole no Baron Nashors with a Janna tornado, but he did pull off three solid games as Sona.
