League Of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Week 5 Analysis

T-4. Team Coast (7-8)

team coast Consistency continues to be the Achilles' heel of Team Coast, going 1-2 for the week. After beating Team Curse decisively in their first match, they dropped two difficult games versus Team Vulcun and Team Dignitas. With a 7-8 record, this team is no where close to out of the competition. However, they, like TSM Snapdragon, lack consistency in their play. Their games are very tilted; they are either snowball victories or snowball defeats. Coach Elementz gets his team into the spirit to win the game, but their play needs to reflect that if they want to compete in the World Championships. Top lane player ZionSpartan made some good plays but also some questionable ones, as he went 5/3/15 in the top lane with Riven, Shen, and Elise for the week. Mid laner Shiphtur played unevenly throughout the week. His 2/1/8 performance on Twisted Fate against Team Curse was admirable, but he finished the week with two less than appealing games on Orianna (3/4/8 in two games). Jungler NintendudeX spent the whole week on Jarvan IV. He went 4/2/8 with it against Team Curse, but then lost his stride with a 2/5/1 performance against Team Dignitas and a 0/4/8 game against Team Vulcun. He is a great jungler that lacks consistency. AD carry DontMashMe had one of his best weeks yet, going 12/7/8 in three shorter length games. Support Daydreamin had a slight decline in his performance from last week, but he continues to be a pivotal member of Team Coast.
