League Of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Week 5 Analysis

T-4. TSM Snapdragon (7-8)

TSM Snapdragon TSM Snapdragon, the champions of last split, continue to struggle against stiff competition. With internal communication issues, the TSM we came to know and love is not performing up to par this split. They went 1-2 this week, which is not terrible but not great either. With an unconventional combination of Xin Zhao and Annie in the bottom lane against Team Vulcun, they show that they want to experiment with new lineups. However, they were beaten by Team Vulcun in 24 minutes, and their experiment was proven abominable. Their other games included a loss to Counter Logic Gaming and a win over Velocity eSports after going back to basics. Top lane player Dyrus was the only solid player on his team this week, and he was the only one to not drop below a .5 KDA in every game this week. He got 3 kills in every game, played two different champions, and never died more than three times. Mid lane player Reginald was inconsistent this week. His flashback Zilean was underwhelming, and his Karthus play against Velocity was decent. However, his 0/7/8 performance as Twisted Fate was atrocious and excruciating to watch. He needs to play much better in the future if he wants his team to reach the world championships. Jungler TheOddOne also had his worst showing yet. He could not secure a single kill in three games, and his KDA for the week was a sad 0/11/18. Most junglers could easily secure 18 assists in one game; he needs to step it up as well. AD carry WildTurtle bombed as Xin Zhao in the bottom lane, but rocked with the convention of his comfort pick Caitlyn. In two games with Caitlyn, WildTurtle went 10/4/10 (not counting his 1/4/5 performance as Xin Zhao). Support Xpecial played decently, but he may even need to step up his game for the future with the rest of the team.
