These are words that ring true in the minds of many LOZ players. If you grew up playing Ocarina of Time, you are undoubtedly used to the sound of this fairy's rather annoying voice. But, while she may be a little grating on the ears, she is still a massively important part of the Zelda canon.
Navi is a fairy who serves as Link's companion in Ocarina of Time, helping the hero on his quest to save Hyrule. She is sent to assist Link by the Great Deku Tree and acts as your guide throughout the game, giving you tips, tricks and exposition to keep the experience rolling.
The character's voice, appearance and presence are among the most well-known in the entire series. Many depictions of Link often come with Navi beside him, and this has helped her to cement herself in the game's legacy.
Despite being such an integral and memorable part of the series, she only appears in one game, excluding a small appearance in the prologue of Majora's Mask. Still, if you're going to only be in one game, it might as well be an easy contender for the best Zelda game of all time.
