Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time - 10 Things Worse Than The Water Temple

4. Finding The Hylian Loach

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiXXDuNKiqI With the Triforce all but confirmed to not be obtainable in the game, the rarest item to obtain in Ocarina of Time is the Hylian Loach, the largest fish in the fishing mini-game. First off, the Loach is so rare that it may not even be available in the pond for Link to catch. Secondly, Link needs to walk into the pond to lure the Loach away from the log where it rests and get it to the center of the pond. Finally, the only time Link can hook the Loach is if it jumps into the air, which happens once every 75 seconds. It€™s easier to catch the Loach if you have the Sinking Lure, which varies in location from game to game. Sometimes it€™s along the reeds at the edges of the pond, and sometimes it€™s in the pond itself. Even if you manage to bait the Loach, it€™s still a monumental task in and of itself to reel it in. And the prize (a purple rupee and bragging rights) doesn€™t seem to be worth the trouble.
