Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time - 10 Things Worse Than The Water Temple

3. Finding All 100 Gold Skulltulas

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJRK0wWrxPo We€™ve all heard the €œcinch cinch€ noise of a Skulltula moving nearby as we played Ocarina of Time. They appear only at night or in dungeons, and are the most numerous collectable items in the game. The Gold Skulltula tokens are used to cure the curse on the Fabulously Rich Family inhabiting the House of Skulltula in Kakariko Village, and each milestone cures another member of the family, who gives you a prize. Up until 50 tokens, each prize got better and better. At 10 tokens, there was the Adult€™s Wallet, which allows Link to carry up to 200 rupees. At 20 tokens was the Stone/Shard of Agony, which revealed the locations of hidden holes by a rumble on the N64 controller or a sound on the screen of the 3DS. At 30 tokens was the Giant€™s Wallet, which allowed Link to carry up to 500 rupees. At 40 tokens was 10 Bombchus, which was pretty lame. At 50 rupees came the Piece of Heart. After that, the spider in the middle (the father of the family) said that it€™s unnecessary to cure him. It turns out, he was right. If you grab all 100 skulltulas, you get an unlimited number of Gold Rupees, worth 200, every time you visit him. But by that point, you probably have enough money where it doesn€™t matter if you get 200 more. Much like the Hylian Loach, the prize was not nearly worth the effort to get it.
