LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

We get excited about today's release of TT Games' latest LEGO video game...

Traveller's Tales LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be winging its way to a game shop near you today, and there might be some of you who will either sneer or falter on a decision to buy. Round these parts, we call that crazy talk, given the quality that TT Games and Warner Bros have brought to the LEGO film-game series so far. And we believe that everyone - from the hardcore to the most casual of gamers - should be looking forward to this latest addition to the series. So without much further ado, here are 10 reasons why we are , and you should be uber-excited to play. First off, here's the launch trailer... http://youtu.be/HPB7SDbUCaM And for more information, including screenshots, more trailers and features dedicated to the game, you can head over to our dedicated LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes hub-page. Anyway, let's get down to it.... 1. The Introduction of Voices In this new addition to the LEGO video game franchise we have, for the first time the appearance of voices - something that had always been conspicuous by their absence up until now. Before seeing the game and how well they have incorporated them, I was dubious as to whether they would actually add anything to the product or whether they would detract away from the refreshing simplicity of it all. However, I am pleased to say that TT have evolved the game brilliantly with this change. We have been given a whole new insight into the character's personalities - how they think and interact, along with allowing us to develop a deeper understanding of the game's storyline. We still have the little visual quirks of the characters, which is another thing that I feared may get lost with the plan of adding voices to the little LEGO block people, but now we have the added bonus of them being able to tell us how they feel and get you further into the spirit of capturing the elusive anti-hero. Not only that, but the voice talents brought in here have already portrayed the characters in other outlets, in most cases, like Clancy Brown, as Lex Luthor, who is reprising his role from DC Animated Universe.
