LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes: 10 Reasons To Be Excited
2. Open World Environment TT Games have done away with the hub feature that we have seen in past LEGO video games. We now have the pleasure of being able to explore the hidden secrets of Gotham City instead. We have already seen aspects of this open world evolution in LEGO Harry Potter where the hub was more of a playable area than it had ever been in its predecessors, but by the looks of things this is going one, or two, steps further. Along with having the city to explore and smash the... blocks... out of, we have the opportunity to roam and examine areas to our heart's content. These include the iconic locations such as Arkham City, Ace Chemicals and many more. In the open world Gotham City you have the chance to hunt down all the Gold and Red Bricks hidden in its depths. You can also, as usual take out all your pent up aggression on the destroyable buildings, in fact you are encouraged to as you have the opportunity to build suits for your characters to reach the elusive Gold and Red bricks. Along with this there are unlockable characters walking, or swooping around that you must beat to a pile of bricks before you have the chance to buy them as usable characters in freeplay.
