8. It’s Hilarious (Of Course)

Again, it goes without saying that a LEGO game would be funny, but this one goes the extra distance.

Thanks to the added development time, there seem to be even more background gags, including interactive gags that you will only discover through exploration. For instance, in the Jakku levels, you can actually shoot background Stormtroopers who are playing volleyball and they’ll come and join the fight.

And of course you have your traditionally funny moments and dialogue - as scripted by Graham Goring - which have become the hallmark of the LEGO brand. Even the darker moments of the film have been pushed through that bonkers filter and it’s very much a case of TT keeping up the gold standard.
