2. But A Fourth Deluxe Edition Episode (Where You Play As Max?)
In addition to the announcement that Before the Storm will feature three episodes where you play as Chloe, it has also been made public that those who purchase the deluxe edition of the game will be given a bonus episode entitled Farewell.
In this extra episode, players will once again step into the shoes of the first game's protagonist, Max Caulfield, for what is being called "one last time." This episode will seemingly coincide with the time period the main game is set in, meaning that this will also be a younger version of Max and we'll get a glimpse of what her life was like prior to moving back to Arcadia Bay.
The fact that it was specified as the last time one will be able to play as Max is very curious as well. While details of Life Is Strange's eventual sequel have been scarce, Dontnod and Deck Nine have gone on record saying that the game could feature entirely new characters, as stated before. And considering that this bonus mission will apparently be Max's curtain call, it seems that that's exactly how things will play out.
