6. Rachel Amber Will Play A Prominent Role
Rachel Amber, Chloe's former best friend, was an incredibly mysterious figure in the original Life Is Strange. However, she was also one of the single most important.
It's heavily implied that Rachel's disappearance was the straw that broke the camel's back, causing Chloe to truly go off the deep end. As time goes on, you begin to learn more and more about her and just how integral she was to everything that was going on.
She was a true enigma, someone that everyone knew some things about, but nobody knew everything about.
However, it appears that the veil covering Rachel's troubled life will finally be lifted in Before the Storm, at least to some extent. Her close relationship with Chloe is going to be one of the key plot points and judging from the gameplay footage, she has always been troubled and secretive. And it will be interesting to not only get an inside look at this character that we know so much, yet so little about, but also as to why her disappearance affected Chloe so deeply.
