Lord Of The Rings: 7 Characters Who Deserve Their Own Video Game
6. Isildur
To many people, Isildur is simply a footnote in the grander mythos of Middle Earth, and it's easy to see why. The LOTR trilogy only briefly touched on his tale and essentially reduced his role to being the man who doomed the world - to be fair, that is pretty accurate. However, there's still plenty of stories to root around in this King of men, as his fall from grace is a fascinating conflict.
As a prince of Gondor and eventual King - if only for a short time - he had plenty of pressure and character. Seeing a game where you learn more about him and eventually move through the motions of his capture of the One Ring would make for a title that blended cinema and gameplay well.
The game could take us through many epic moments, with the War of the Last Alliance potentially being one of the best set-pieces in any video game. Plus, his final demise during the Disaster of the Gladden Fields would be an emotional ending to the journey.
Although he might not seem like the kind of character you'd want to take over, he's got a story that's well worth telling.
