Lord Of The Rings: 7 Characters Who Deserve Their Own Video Game
4. The Ents
Middle-Earth is a land so filled with magic, mystery and fantasy that even the foliage has a mind of its own. Of course, calling The Ents simple talking trees does not do them justice, but that's what they are for all intents and purposes. So, what makes these bizarre creatures such great material for a video game?
Firstly, moving away from one specific character and focussing on the race themselves would give players plenty of freedom to carve out their own Ent. This could be fully realised with a character creation suite that allowed gamers to create their own shepherd of the trees and wander about Fangorn living their best Ent life.
Regarding what you'd do in this game, there's a lot of scope. Thanks to their ancient ages, the Ents have lived through many of Middle-Earth's most significant periods, so they could let us see some sides to the world that we've never seen before.
Interacting with a young Gandalf, their history with Yavanna, and their interactions with ancient Elves are all great building blocks, but simply roaming around as a humungous talking tree would be worth the ticket price.
