Ball Hawk has been stripped down and rebuilt as Play Ball to improve the defensive side of the game. Users will still have to hold down Y/Triangle to haul the ball down, and the function works in roughly the same way, though it has been refined to carve out the most aggressive route to the ball. Failing to position yourself though will result in a catch animation...behind the grateful receiver who can simply pick the ball out of the air. Holding the A/X button will activate Play Receiver, meaning that your defender will burst towards the receiver rather than the ball to make a play, though you won't be able to make interceptions like this. It's a choice, play the ball or play the man.
