Mafia 3: 8 New Gameplay Features You Need To Know About
4. Each Area Of New Bordeaux Has Its Own Brand Of Crime
Hangar 13's fictionalised interpretation of '60s era New Orleans is riddled with illicit activity. In the intense and fiery atmosphere of the end of the decade, these activities only become more extreme, explosive, and ultimately more destructive. Ideal for a video game then, but even more so for a crime title.
And crime, of course, is the name of the game when it comes to Mafia. Whether it be gun running, prostitution, drug trafficking or otherwise, each of New Bordeaux's ten neighbourhoods all have their own distinct brand of criminality to embrace and disrupt. The more you disrupt, the more the Italians lose power across the city, and believe me when I say there are plenty of ways to agitate and dismantle in Mafia III.
Lincoln can assassinate, sabotage, and steal his way to victory in any order he pleases, and while we're yet to see just how dynamic this feature is (there's always a danger of monotony when it comes to activities like these), it's always good to see another studio take a leaf from Monolith's book. Especially, if as it seems, they manage to make it all the more better in doing so.
