5. "Sign Of The Times" Promises Some Manson-Esque Horror

By far the most off kilter of all story add-ons announced for Mafia III, "Sign of the Times" promises to deliver a story package complete with cultish behaviour, murderous endeavours, and, of course, a premise that could have come straight from a report detailing the Manson Family's values.

Upon the request of Father James, Lincoln sets out to investigate just why New Bordeaux is being rocked with a set of incredibly bizarre and inexplicable killings, with the story looking to place a greater emphasis on sixties-era counterculture, as well as the more macabre elements of the decade.

This will entail an obvious deviation in tone - one that could easily lend itself well to the horror genre - and will mark a departure for a series that's so far kept its feet firmly to the floor of high-stakes criminal enterprise when it's come to engaging with any level of criminality.

It's just a shame this seasonally spooky offering will most likely be a belated one, considering Halloween is right around the corner.
