Magic: The Gathering: Every Ikoria Godzilla Card Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Godzilla, Primeval Champion

Godzilla Magic
Wizards of the Coast

Of course, the best card in the entire series is going to be the monster who has dominated the Kaiju movie series for almost 70 glorious years. The king of the monsters the terror of Tokyo, the radioactive T-Rex, the savior or ultimate destroyer of humanity, Godzilla.

This glorious card shows the main character in his natural habitat, the destroyed remains of a city. He is in what appears to be his 2000's appearance, but this actual card's design of Godzilla is new and unique to Magic the Gathering.

He is the most powerful of the Godzilla series cards, with an attack of 11, and a defense of 11. The King of the monsters also requires the most mana of any of his Kaiju lackeys, needing a whopping seven generic cards and two greens, meaning that if players wish to use him they will need to build up a lot of mana.

His primeval Champion card is also another cycling card, which means he can use his ability but then has to be put in the graveyard. Thankfully his ability is very powerful, adding a triple counter on any target card the player controls, which when used after tearing apart the enemy player's monster line could ensure quite a lot of damage is done to the enemy's health, creating a massive weapon of mass destruction that can tear through enemy player's cards and their health.
