Magic: The Gathering: Every Ikoria Godzilla Card Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Godzilla, Doom Inevitable

Shin Godzilla can be easily stated as the best Godzilla film ever made, not only giving the most horrifying version of the Tokyo Menace ever seen on film but also bringing the series back to its roots as a political statement on humanity's relationship with the radioactive powers of the atom bomb that made man into a god and how consequences will always find those who abuse their godlike power and harm the environment around them.

The card portraying Shin Godzilla perfectly encapsulates the monster as just that, a monster. He is surrounded by fighter jets and you can just about see his massive tail hidden in the clouds. Clearly to get one fo the strongest monsters in the new pack players need to spend two red's and five whole generic mana cards to make this horrific Tokyo disintegrator appear.

His power levels are 8 attack and 8 defense, making him the second strongest Godzilla card, just above Space Godzilla who also has an 8/8 power but due to Shin Godzilla's power which gives him the power be played almost 5 times on the battlefield even when killed puts this beast from the sea completely over the monster from the vacuum of space as the more deadly version of Godzilla.
