Magic: The Gathering: Every Ikoria Godzilla Card Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Ghidorah, King Of The Cosmos
In the most recent Legendary film Godzilla King of the Monsters, the three-headed dragon named monster zero aka King Ghidorah was a brutal match for the King of Kaiju, almost Killing Godzilla nearly every time the two forces of nature collided. And while Ghidorah's card form IS powerful, it's probably not as devastating as it could (or should) have been
Another beautifully drawn card, Ghidorah is portrayed high in a stormy sky with one of his heads shooting out a classic gravity beam at probably some poor unknowing human that will soon be disintegrated.
Obviously, to summon this legendary three-headed monster, players need to spend a lot of mana. Ghidorah needs a green, a blue, a red, and two generic mana, which while isn't a massive cost it does require a lot of luck and good deck stacking.
While his power level is 6/6 making him a very dangerous attacker and defender, his superpower leaves much to be desired, costing the player cards from their library until they find a nonhand permanent card which would then be put into the player's hand or on the field, coming off as a high-risk low reward ability rather than something to turn the tide of battle like the planetary destroying alien weapon should be able to do.
