Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: 10 MAJOR Issues Team Ninja Must Fix
2. Lack Of Endgame Content
No, not a tie-in with Avengers: Endgame (although admittedly that would be pretty sweet), but once you've saved the universe, the game suffers from a severe dearth of things to do.
On beating the game, you are rewarded with... the opportunity to play it again on the higher Superior difficulty. Beating Superior unlocks yet another playthrough on Ultimate difficulty. If finishing the game three times in a row isn't your style, you can tackle the Infinity Rifts, a series of bitesize replayable challenges which recycle enemies and locales from the campaign.
And... that's it.
While MUA3 often feels like a Marvel-flavoured version of hack 'n' slack RPGs like Diablo, it lacks the meaningful endgame content to keep players going back for more.
Come on, Team Ninja. Give us an endless mob rush mode. Give us raid bosses. Give us postgame challenges which scale with level, or the ability to "prestige" our favourite heroes back to level one and raise them up again alongside characters we neglected the first time.
Adding some or all of these suggestions would help incentivise getting everyone up to max level, which at the minute is a massive grind with nothing to show for it.
