Yes, yes, I may have just said that mimicking the source material page for page is a big no no, but who could possibly protest at the prospect of the occasional homage?

The first Ultimate Alliance had something similar in its 'Simulator Discs', which served as brief introductions behind the lore of the game's characters. They were hardly anything special, not at all, but they were a nice wee bonus for players scramming to get the most out of their own virtual slice of the Marvel mythos.

A similar feature that recalls key moments in each character's history would be a welcome addition to what should already be a fairly meaty campaign. It's hard to imagine that players wouldn't welcome the opportunity of reliving Daredevil and Elektra's fateful encounters with Bullseye, or Cap and Bucky's last battle against the Red Skull in World War II.

They needn't be long of course, but a complimentary mode that both elaborated and explored the more, preeminent, of Marvel's heroes, would be a welcome move for a series that's been placed on ice for the last seven years.
