Status: Prediction (potentially in the X-Men pack)
Jean Grey is one of the few X-Men on the sidelines who can rival Mystique’s popularity. With an X-Men pack in the offing, she seems like a formality, although they may have to give her a nerf.
Neither Famke Jansen’s nor Sophie Turner’s version of the Phoenix arc got it right, but done correctly, Phoenix would destroy the Black Order.
Lots of people will want her in the game, but it comes with the understanding that the real Jean Grey is simply too powerful. Still, given that some of the lesser Marvel lights are there, it doesn’t feel complete without Jean Grey.
