7. Rogue
Status: Prediction (potentially in the X-Men pack)
Much more likely than Karma is Rogue, who really feels like she should be there in the first place. Most players will be a little surprised when they realise Rogue isn’t playable, but then they probably didn’t go looking for her immediately either.
She’s a well established character, but not one with absolute swarms of fans. However, with Mystique and Juggernaut being bosses and Professor X and Beast being NPCs, if Team Ninja looks to add completely fresh characters to the game, Rogue is a leading X-Men candidate.
That would go some way to explaining why she’s not present from the start, although again, she hasn’t been especially missed.
