Beta Ray Bill has a cult following in the comics, giving Thor’s cosmic stories a richer flavour and making the ‘universe’ part of the Marvel Universe a wider place.
He’s also a brilliant fighter and has only seen his popularity increase with Asgardians Of The Galaxy. With Taika Waititi’s anything goes attitude working well so far with Thor, we should see Beta Ray Bill sooner rather than later in the MCU.
He was originally scripted for Ragnarok, but cut as his role was deemed too small, and they wanted him kept back for something bigger. Love & Thunder might just provide that.
