5. Doctor Doom
Status: Prediction (potentially in the Fantastic Four pack)
Heading back to the confirmed packs briefly, Doctor Doom is a potential add on to the Fantastic Four. Like the Silver Surfer, he’ll have to get in line, but there’ll definitely be fans pushing for him alongside the main heroes.
Even if he doesn’t become playable, he’ll likely feature as a boss in the FF story pack, just as he does in the base game. At least we’d get more of our Doctor Doom fill that way, but many fans wouldn’t be satisfied unless they get to control him themselves.
He’s a contender for Marvel’s best ever villain, yet three movies in a row have utterly botched him. Other media at least gets it right, but a playable role in MUA feels like something resembling reparations.
