25. Thor

Thor is a strange hero to play as. Initially he appears slow, sluggish and nowhere near as powerful as he should be. However, he's worth persevering with, as while he's not as initially appealing as an Iron Man or Captain America, he transforms into a versatile, dangerous behemoth once you've levelled up his abilities.

Throwing Mjolnir into a group of enemies is always fun, but it's the dash ability, which sees him launch forward hammer first, that makes him so devastating. Combine this with some stunning area of effect lightning attacks, and levelled-up Thor becomes so, so fun.
