Marvel's Avengers: 10 Iconic Iron Man Armours That NEED To Be Included
8. Mark XXII: Thorbuster
By now, everyone knows about the Hulkbuster armour. It's already featured in the promotional footage for the game, so we know its inclusion is guaranteed. However, there is another "buster" armour that often flies under the radar.
The two came to blows during 2010's Standoff arc. Asgard sat high above New York City after Thor decided he needed to act as an example for the mortals he ruled over. The people of Earth came to accept him as their saviour and across the world, prayers went out to the God of Thunder. However, not everyone was on board with the Asgardian's plan to literally lord over the planet.
Trapped in a brutal dictatorship, Slokvovians said prayers to the God of Thunder, hoping he would save their country. However, as the Asgardians lay waste to the dictator's armies, the US military attempted to intervene and put a stop to the attack. Iron Man is sent to reason with him, but finds Thor completely unwilling to back down.
Understanding there is no other option, Stark heads to Slokovia to put a stop to the fight, bringing with him some brand-new armour. The Thorbuster takes its design from the Destroyer and features a whole host of Asgardian modifications.
