Marvel's Avengers: 10 Iconic Iron Man Armours That NEED To Be Included
9. Mark LI: Model-Prime
This could be the last Tony Stark suit we see in Marvel Comics, barring another huge reboot. After Tony received the smack-down from Carol Danvers in Civil War II, he was left in a coma until the recent announcement that he had indeed passed.
Designed out of spite and a fear of becoming outdated in the tech world, Model-Prime is one of the most advanced suits yet. Building upon the Bleeding Edge armour, Mark LI was able to utilise nanotech to incorporate the best features from the lengthy back catalogue.
The main design is the classic red and gold look, with a much more angular design for improved aerodynamics. However, the Mark LI has a cool trick up its sleeve. Thanks to the nanotech, the armour can change its appearance on a dime. To allow for extra stealth, the armour transforms into an all-black design and the repulsor jets leave no trace to stop anyone tracking Stark down.
The advanced nanotech is also able to multiply, increasing the armour's mass. This completely removes the need for an external Hulkbuster armour, which could certainly come in handy against the bigger AIM bots.
