Marvel's Avengers: 10 Ms. Marvel Comics Fans Must Read
4. Champions
Stand aside Young Avengers - there's a new team of teens on the case.
With Kamala, Miles and Nova growing tired of the Avengers' infighting and dangerous tactics, especially during Civil War II, the three took it upon themselves to rectify the Avengers' mistakes and ease the public distrust of superheroes in general. They managed to recruit Vision's daughter, Viv Vision, and the newest Hulk on the scene, Amadeus Cho.
Throughout the past few years, the team has teamed up with Gwenpool, Ironheart and Patriot while tackling social injustice. They didn't exactly ease into the role either. Early missions included stopping a group of militant fundamentalists from enforcing a gender apartheid in Sharzhad and fighting Sheriff Studdard, the xenophobic head of Daly County's police.
The Champions have an amazing ride, right up until Kamala's Law is introduced. Passed into law after Kamala is nearly killed in a superhero incident, the Government made teenage superheroes illegal, not realising her secret life as Ms. Marvel. The currently running "Outlawed" has been disrupted due to the ongoing industry delays, leaving fans to wonder what is next for Marvel's favourite teen heroes.
