Unfortunately, this doesn't really help Xbox One owners intent on purchasing the Xbox Series X, but for those of you looking forward to picking up a PlayStation 5, there's a much better alternative to Marvel's Avengers. Spider-Man: Miles Morales may only be a spinoff rather than a full-blown sequel to 2018's Spider-Man, but based on the previous instalment, it should be truly spectacular.

Simply put, it's just not worth spending the money on this title when the next Spider-Man game is only a couple of months away (the rumoured launch date for the PS5 is November 20th). It makes much more sense to hold off and pick that up, especially when it will almost certainly be a more fulfilling experience than a game that can't decide what it wants to be.

Throw in rumours that Spider-Man: Miles Morales will come bundled with a remastered version of Spider-Man, and there are clearly better investments on the horizon for superhero fans than this. Think of it like the difference between watching The New Mutants and Black Widow in cinemas...
