Marvel's Avengers: 8 Things Fans Demand

6. Diverse Mission Design

During the War Table presentation, fans got to see plenty of gameplay. Most of what was shown revolved around a specific mission where players got to see Thor in his over the top return, smashing AIM robots to pieces and using his lightning powers to stop a Helicarrier from crashing into New York.

The rest of the gameplay shown was more of the same, the Avengers showing up to an AIM lair and then punching everything in the face and leveling the entire area with their cool destructive powers.

While the usual team-based beat them up is plenty of fun for fans of the superhero video game genre, there really should be other types of missions to play in Marvel's Avengers.

We don't necessarily mean the forced stealth sections in the PS4 Spider-Man game, but some different types of missions would be very nice to shake-up the repetitiveness of smashing the same enemy types for hours on end. With so many unique heroes, surely their skills could be put to something other than mass destruction. Tony could use his science to hack consoles, Black Widow could use her stealth in a more fun fashion than MJ or powerless Miles.

Even simply putting in missions revolving around saving civilians, something superheroes are supposed to do anyway, could help prevent the game from quickly becoming boring through its gameplay.
