5. More Unique Heroes Post-Launch
A very interesting part of the Avengers game is that after launch, there will be several updates and releases including new characters, maps and story-based missions to continue the Avenger's fight against AIM for (presumably) years to come.
These updates are thankfully free, with the only real money that people will have to spend being on new costumes that will come out after launch in the digital store.
While it is unclear how many heroes will be available at the beginning, we know there will be the main six to play as, and perhaps Ant-Man will be the first post-launch character, as he has been shown in an earlier trailer.
Ant-Man will be a fun addition to the Avenger's roster but hopefully, fans can expect heroes with superpowers not currently available in the main roster. The usual beat 'em up skills will be needed but it certainly would be fun to play with characters that are very unique, like Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy or the Wasp, some X-Men, or members of the Fantastic Four.
Sometime in the coming months, Crystal Dynamics has promised a reveal of a post-launch character so there is hope that the DLC plans for Marvel's Avengers will take the game to the next level with plenty of in-depth heroes for single player and multiplayer fun.
