Marvel's Avengers: Every Brand New Story And Gameplay Detail JUST Revealed

After outlining the combat system, the War Table presentation smoothly segued into some more details on the multiplayer modes.

A quick shot of the War Table offers us another peek into what to expect from the War Zone mode itself. Alongside the campaign missions are rescue missions, hacking missions and high-value target missions. The missions seem to offer various loot boxes as a guaranteed reward, with the "Enter: The Avengers" mission showing a "rare gear" reward.

The War Zone missions are spread out over the entire globe, offering a number of unique locations from sprawling open landscapes to tight, robot filled corridors leading to epic boss fights that will push your team to its limit. There are also a bunch of moves that allow players to team up with each other. Fastball special, anyone?

It seems that the line between multiplayer and single player will be as seamless as it can get. War Zone missions can be played alone or with a group of up to four people and for the most part can be played at any time. However, they are still tied to the main story, so spoiler alerts will flash up if a player hasn't gotten that far in the story yet.
