Marvel's Avengers: Every Brand New Story And Gameplay Detail JUST Revealed
3. Marvel's Avengers Will Adopt The Games As A Service Model
There
was much confusion when the Marvel's Avengers game was announced back
at E3 2019. At the conference, Head of Studio, Scot Amos, mentioned the
games as a service model but the footage shown did little to back that
claim up. Fans were left scratching their heads wondering how regular
updates could fit into the single player, story-driven gameplay they
were just shown.
Thankfully, the studio cleared things up a little bit while detailing the multiplayer aspect. Alongside the main campaign, you will be fighting alongside the Resistance, a group of humans and Inhumans alike who refused to bend to AIM's whim. This is where the game as a service model fits in.
As AIM and its oppression spreads across the globe, new problems will pop up quite often. The game will be updated regularly with new missions from Maria Hill, Dum-Dum Dugan, Nick Fury and a bunch more characters from Marvel's archives. This means that Crystal Dynamics have the option to include weekly or even daily missions, offering different loot options and more chances to play with friends.
