Mass Effect: 10 Most Fan-Pleasing Moments In The Trilogy

9. Going Up Against The Collectors (ME 2)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut9okGB8ALw Mass Effect 2 really nailed everything the first was going for and then some, but it was Bioware's touting of 'everything you do will matter in the end' for the Suicide Mission, that was absolutely mind-blowing when you realised how true that statement was. Every single one of us had a different experience depending on how equipped our Normandys were, which squadmates were loyal to the cause and who you selected when you finally did make it onto the ship, to carry out certain tasks. That moment though, when you first emerge from the Omega 4 Relay and have to face the onslaught of the Reaper's considerable firepower - the cinematography of the battle itself really puts you right in the middle of the fray, not to mention how each choice you made brings about cutaways to specific scenes that reflect choices you've made up to this point. It's a genius combination of movie-inspired thrills and unique game-based spills that truly make it worth playing through all of ME2 again, just to see what'll change next time.
