Mass Effect 4: 10 Features That MUST Return
3. The Quarians
Depending on your choices in Mass Effect 3, the Quarians could be doomed to total extinction but we need them back. Whether it’s set before the events of the first game or a continuation of Andromeda, or even just a fixed timeline after the Reaper invasion where they’re alive, the galaxy isn’t the same without them.
The Quarians being so tragic and unique makes them invigorating to learn about and interact with first hand.
Whether it’s directly experiencing the flotilla’s democratic processes, romancing Tali and experiencing the challenges that come with dating someone so immunocompromised, or dealing with the political navigation of them at war, the Quarians provide a role in the games that no other species fulfils.
In a continuation to Andromeda, it would be fascinating to see how the Quarians adapt to this new galaxy.
Would their immune systems flourish on a new planet? Would they be able to cope with the lack of stabilisation of a flotilla? Getting to have a Quarian crew member first hand like in the original trilogy would be such a great way to get jaded fans back on board with the series. They’re just so great.
