Mass Effect 4: 10 Killer E3 Announcements BioWare Must Make

8. Deeper Paragon/Renegade System

In the past we have seen the paragon and renegade aspect of the game only having trivial affects such as opening up more conversation options and assisting in conflict solving. The next instalment of Mass Effect could introduce a more extensive system with bigger repercussions and impact on the game€™s narrative, introducing missions exclusive to a paragon or renegade player. For example, a paragon player could embark on exclusive rescue missions while a renegade player could be involved in missions that entailed stealing cargo or taking over other ships. They could also incorporate this into opening up new planets. Some planets may not allow you to dock if you are too renegade as they fear you would disturb the peace, and others may worry you would attempt to eradicate corruption from a dependant hierarchal system. The paragon and renegade level could also influence how your crew members react to your decisions and actions. The groundwork is there, but adding this much needed depth to Mass Effect€™s rather basic morality system would be an excellent move.
