Mass Effect 4: 10 Killer E3 Announcements BioWare Must Make
7. Luscious Landscapes
Often-times in the Mass Effect games especially when exploring planets of lesser importance the landscapes can get a little bit repetitive to say the least. While the game overall has stunningly good visuals, it seems like they put so much effort into making certain aspects of the games' graphics stunning that other areas inevitably suffered. With the exception of the gardens in the Citadel, there has never been a truly beautiful planet in the Mass Effect games. As the next instalment will be able to harness the brute-force power of the next-gen consoles, BioWare should finally be able to create some stunning worlds to complement their superb character models, weaponry and of course the Normandy (if we ever see her again). One of the few things we know for certain about Mass Effect 4 is that the development team will be implementing the Frostbite 3 graphics engine, the same kit used of the Dragon Age: Inquisition project. As Dragon Age is somewhat further through its development we know of the advantages offered by this engine; the development tool has allowed BioWare to craft larger environments with beautiful natural touches, weather effects and fully-destructible structures. This bodes very well for Mass Effect 4.
