6. It's Not Actually Called Mass Effect 4

Producer Mike Gamble was pretty obstinate about this one, stating that the next game most certainly will not be titled Mass Effect 4. Of course, that's not going to stop us referring to it as such though, at least until the proper title is announced. Despite reiterating that the next game won't be a direct continuation of Shepard's tale, Gamble did claim that it will feature "some old with the new". He also hinted that some characters from previous games may make a reappearance, although it's unlikely that any will be a part of the main squad. The actual name of the game hasn't been confirmed yet, although it will retain "Mass Effect" in the main title.
