Mass Effect 4: Andromeda - 10 Small Changes That Would Make A Big Difference

10. Improved Galaxy Map

Everyone loves Mass Effect€™s galaxy map; it€™s simple to use and does a decent job of making you feel like an explorer on a vast galactic canvas. That being said, there lots of minor ways to make it better, not necessarily because there was anything majorly wrong with it, but because there are always ways to improve on anything. Since the galaxy map is the player's window into the universe, attention to detail and scope are the two most important means of capturing its visual majesty. Therefore, the best change Bioware can make is to simply give us more. The galaxy map should be incredibly detailed, visually dazzling, and expansive; representing stars, solar systems, and planets to a far greater degree than previous games did. Further contextualisation would be also be welcomed. It would be really cool to be able to operate the map with other characters as advisers; hearing them bicker and banter with each other as you decide where to go next. It would add a bit more depth and realism to the whole process. Honestly, just a few tweaks like these would do wonders towards making map navigation more captivating and awe-inspiring experience that captures the grandeur of the universe, with a bit of humour and wit to keep things grounded.
