2. Pilot-Controlled Flight Sections?

Another interesting factoid from the November leak was one bit that discussed how the Pathfinder would take control of his ship and manually fly it, as a means of replacing the old galaxy map from previous games. The potential for these sections could go either way, as they could prove to be a cool idea wasted on short €œjumping from planet to planet€ scenes, or it could become something more akin to Elite Dangerous, making you feel like a real pilot of a ship. It made sense why you never flew the Normandy previously, as Shepard was never a pilot, because that was Joker€™s speciality. However, if The Pathfinder is a pilot, then that opens the door to a potential flying mode being really special. This, along with the concept of the jetpacks, would really illustrate how much of a leap forward this new installment would be, as it would represent a game definitely not part of the Shepard trilogy, but something of its own kind and worthy of its own merits. Having the ability to actually control your ship is something many fans have been craving, and hopefully, Mass Effect Andromeda provides a means to oblige. Now if only there was a way to explore these massive open-worlds in some sort of vehicle€
