7. More Dynamic Storytelling & Decision-Making
By now, youve read so many insults regarding Mass Effect 3s ending that youd think thered be support groups for those who felt personally violated by it. Now, I personally didnt really have an issue with it (although I can understand why people did), but I definitely agree with one consistent problem brought up: YOUR CHOICES NEEDED TO MATTER. This is essential for a game series that tells you to make these huge decisions, as they need to truly feel like theyre making a difference on every level. That is why I predict Bioware learning from their previous mistakes and adding in a whole new sense of dynamic elements to the story of Andromeda to make each play through feel fresh and each choice critical. Since gamers didnt feel like their choices mattered in the ending of 3s finale, its time that is changed and we feel like each time we start it up each time, there should be a bigger difference other than your typical Paragon and Renegade playthrough. Adding more replayability would only enrich the game further; a win-win scenario for all gamers. Mass Effect has always been immensely replayable, and ensuring that doesnt change will have to be one of the main priorities. When you actually give players a reason to play again, chances are, they will.
