Mass Effect: Andromeda - 10 Big Questions We're Asking After E3

4. Is This More Of A Solo Experience?

Something that goes hand-in-hand with fuelling exploration and intrepid adventuring tropes is isolation; a quality you can easily lose as soon as you introduce multiple support roles to the mix. Obviously it depends on what direction Bioware are going for when it comes to the 'feel' of adventuring; whether they want a Witcher-like "You could die any second" approach or a more fun Fallout-style "What's round the next corner?" landscape. The developers do note in their brief that you'll "have a new team of adventurers to work with, learn from, fight alongside of, and fall in love with", but why not show some of these characters in the finale of the teaser or in the behind-closed-doors demos that are surely going on across the show floor? There definitely looks to be a focus on base-building from what the trailer shows - although it could be an enemy defence mechanism too - yet it remains to be seen how everything ties together.
