8. Unlocking The Hidden Tech Skill

Still here? Good, because the hidden tech skill is actually a miniature Remnant robot called Zap, who you can summon into battle whenever you like.

Acquired by doing Peebee's 'Remtech' mission (involving activating three Remnant pillar sets), you then need to take the artefact back to her apartment on the Nexus, where she'll reveal she's been working on a Remnant bot of her own.

Summon this little guy and he'll rush into combat ahead of you, blasting enemies accordingly. Zap can be levelled up to deal more damage and pull off various status effects, but best of all, rank him up all the way and you'll get access to flurries of missiles and devastating energy beam.
