8. That Badass Asari Has A Name

Going off the fact that everything else in the leaked details is true, it's safe to assume that the battle paint-wearing Asari, last seen running for her life from an unseen force, is Cora.

Cora was mentioned back in 2015 as a character that could wield biotic powers with confidence, alongside a Krogan called Drack, who was most likely the very same one we saw during the game's first announcement in 2014.

She does the majority of the talking in this new footage - from a conversation Bioware say they edited down for the trailer - as we actually barely hear Ryder utter a sentence. Still, in service of providing an Asari character that barely makes you think of Liara aesthetically, I'd say mission accomplished.
