2. Max And Passos: Best Friends Forever
Rockstar already has a New York Minute Co-Op Pack listed with a tentative summer release date, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be entirely new. I know, co-op isn't in the game yet, but if they simply release co-op for every level in the already existing New York Minute, the only difference will be Passos is always by your side. Which really wouldn't make much sense as far as the story goes. Yet, they have an opportunity to kill two birds with one shotgun. Rockstar could work on a brand new, stand alone narrative, content pack that highlights all of dynamic duo's bodyguarding shenanigans. What better way to play through Max Payne 3 than with your real life best friend? This is awkward, I'm sorry I didn't know you were best friendless. Don't worry...I'll be Passos, best friend.
3. Arcade Levels Galore
Rockstar was smart to include an arcade mode with Max Payne 3. It fits perfectly. Re-playing through the story while in Score Attack mode changes your state of mind. Instead of simply surviving, you find yourself wondering how you can play more efficiently, stylishly, and maximize your multiplier. It adds a brand new dynamic to gameplay, but unfortunately it's weighed down by the player having to watch nearly every cut scene that hides the hefty load times. This even carries over into the New York Minute arcade mode. A mode which is all about speed should not be weighed down by cut scenes that break up the action. It's a shame. Yet, that's where DLC comes into play. Rockstar has a prime opportunity to take full advantage of their arcade mode. They could potentially create entirely new scenarios that Max finds himself in, and limit the interference of cut scenes. Toss in some epic set pieces, great shootouts, and they would have a huge hit on their hands. Just, please Rockstar, take out the cut scenes. Right when I'm in the groove you step on my toes. It's really annoying. Click "Next" below to read on...
