Metal Gear Solid V Regenerating health has actually existed in the franchise since Snake Eater although to a limited extent. If your heath bar was staggeringly low it would slowly but surely recover over time a fraction. What we are talking about here though is full blown regenerating health where the screen goes red and you hustle behind the nearest waist high object to quickly recover. For MGS, this sounds absolutely stupid and I really hope Kojima is pranking us. Traditionally finding Rations in the environment to eat wasn€™t only a natural survivalist technique that added some authenticity into the game mechanics, but to this day doesn€™t feel like an outdated or antiquated feature at all. This is again just Kojima disappointingly ditching his timeless mechanics for the latest trends.
