Metal Gear Solid V: 8 (Some Are Worrying) Things We Learned From Gameplay Demonstration

1. The Game Is Heavily Western Inspired Mgs5e3 You have probably by now arrived at this conclusion yourself but it€™s such a glaring departure that it€™s worth ending the editorial piece on. It€™s no secret that the Western market has dominated the generation leaving Japan struggling to put out games at the same level of quality, but I don€™t think plagiarizing their tried and true mechanics are the appropriate way to deal with that profound stagnation. Adopting an open world is one thing, an evolution even, but the recent reveals send the message that you€™re ignoring the core dilemma in favor of prettying up your heralded franchise into a plea for mainstream success that may not even come. We€™ve seen this lately with Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Lost Planet, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, etc. and while I ENJOY these franchises still, there€™s still an evident identity crisis. What€™s really disheartening and depressing though is that the man who pioneered mature games and storytelling is seemingly lost too, and as a diehard MGS fan€ I€™m worried. Am I looking too far into things? Do you feel that MGS might be losing its way? Let us know below.
